France Football chose:


 A preliminary list of 30 players, to choose the best player in the world, who will receive the Golden Ball award on November 29.

For his part, French former Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane revealed his candidate to win the Ballon d’Or presented by the French magazine “France Football”.

Zidane told the French program “Telefoot”:


 Karim Benzema deserves to win the Ballon d’Or this year.

The French coach added:


“Karim is in the clouds now, and I will give him the Ballon d’Or, he deserves it, he is a great player and it was a great honor for me to coach him.”

Zizou finished:


“He knows how to do everything on the pitch, he is at the top now and I hope he will be rewarded with the Ballon d’Or.”

While Brazilian Roberto Carlos, a former Real Madrid player, confirmed that Karim Benzema deserves to win the Ballon d’Or this year

Carlos published a picture of Karim Benzema through his official account on Instagram, and wrote in his message:


 “Even if Benzema is part of another team, the Golden Ball will be his because he is the best ever.”

The Algerian Riyad Mahrez also praised his compatriot Karim Benzema of Algerian origin by saying:


“No need for words, a great career, 10 or 11 years as the number 9 at Real Madrid is not easy. He deserves it and I’m happy for him. He could score more goals and stay at the top level for longer.”

And Arsene Wenger chose his favorite player to win the Ballon d’Or, with his comments on the French Telefoot network:

 “Benzema was the best player technically, both individually and collectively, the only doubt will be about the number of titles he won compared to the other candidates.”

Arsene continued:


 “There are many candidates for the Ballon d’Or this season, and if it was based on individual performance and impact, Benzema was at the top.

Wenger concluded:


“This season, there is no clear candidate for the Ballon d’Or. When it comes to individual performance and consistency, Benzema is number one and the only doubt is whether the titles won will play a decisive role.”

And Ronaldo, the Brazilian football legend, nicknamed “The Phenomenon”, revealed his nominee for the Ballon d’Or award in the current version of the award, which he had previously won.

Ronaldo posted on his Instagram account, a picture of him with Karim Benzema, Real Madrid player, and commented on it:


“Karim Benzema, without a doubt, is my favorite for the Ballon d’Or, the best striker with a brutal level for 10 years and a champion above all else.”
