The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has revealed the official lists of the African Nations Championship in Cameroon 2021, which will be held from January 9 to February 6.

The tournament will be held with the participation of 24 teams for the second time in the history of the tournament, after CAF decided to increase the number of teams from 16 to 24 teams, starting with the 2019 edition that was held in Egypt.

The tournament teams were divided into 6 groups, as follows:

Group A: Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, Cape Verde.

Group B: Senegal, Guinea, Zimbabwe, Malawi.

Group C: Morocco, Ghana, Gabon, Comoros.

Group D: Nigeria, Egypt, Guinea-Bissau, Sudan.

Group E: Algeria, Cote d’Ivoire, Sierra Leone, Equatorial Guinea.

Group F: Tunisia, Mali, Mauritania, Gambia.

Below are the lists announced for the tournament, and the teams enter the Nations Cup without an equal number of players.

Where Kaf decided to increase the number of teams in the tournament from 23 to 28, with the Al-Ahly Federation bearing the costs of the 5 players, more than the official list. Therefore, not all 28 teams included players, and the lists of teams came as follows.

The first group included 4 teams: Cameroon, Burkina Faso, Ethiopia, and Cape Verde.
