Ahmed bin Ali Stadium, a Model of Sustainability

The Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy in Qatar revealed new photos of Ahmed bin Ali Stadium.

The committee published a video of the stadium from the inside and the outside.

In fact, the Stadium will host seven games in the World Cup Qatar 2022 finals.

From the very first moment, the organizers of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 paid great attention to the elements of heritage and sustainability in their preparations to host the tournament.

Ahmed bin Ali Stadium is a clear model of sustainability. The stadium also is an important legacy to Qatar and future generations.

Qatar is hosting the World Cup for the first time in the Middle East and Arab countries.

Furthermore, the stadium has a capacity of 40,000 seats. Its unique design symbolizes the solidarity and unity of families in the Qatari and Arab culture.

According to the report added to the video of the Stadium, the decorations and shapes in the stadium were inspired by Islamic architecture.

The decorations come together in the shape of a shield to represent the unity and strength of Qatar and the Qataris.

Moreover, Doha has opened several stadiums to host the World Cup, including Al Bayt Stadium, Al Thumama Stadium, Lusail Iconic Stadium, and Education City Stadium.

Many international federations praised the astounding development of infrastructure and sports stadiums for the World Cup.

Ahmed bin Ali stadium is located in Umm Al Afaei in Al-Rayyan, west of Doha, Qatar. The stadium is home to Al-Rayyan Sports Club.
