Arsenal loan Ivorian striker Pepe to Nice

 

 

The English club Arsenal, who is professional in its ranks, the Egyptian star Mohamed Elneny, announced the departure of its Ivorian striker, Nicolas Pepe, to the French club Nice, on loan for one season, during the current summer transfer period.

 

Pepe, 27, joined Arsenal from Lille in the summer of 2019, and played 111 games in all competitions, scoring 27 goals.

 

The Ivorian player has been a key player in his country since his debut in 2016, where he was part of his country’s squad for the African Nations Cup in 2017, 2019 and 2021. He participated in 34 matches with Ivory Coast, scoring nine goals.

Arsenal had continued its victories in the English Premier League, after its easy victory over its host Bournemouth by 3-0, in the meeting that brought them together last Saturday evening, at the “Vitality” stadium, in the third round competitions.
