Atletico Madrid sell Morata and Barcelona buy Conde

Press reports revealed that Atletico Madrid is waiting for a new offer from its Italian counterpart, Juventus, in order to obtain the services of its striker Alvaro Morata during the current summer transfer market.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano said that Atletico Madrid would not mind the departure of Morata during the current summer Mercato, but they are waiting for a new offer from Juventus to allow the player to leave.

He added that Atletico Madrid rejected the first offer from Juve to sell Morata for 20 million euros.

Alvaro Morata spent two seasons on loan with Juventus at the end of the 2021-2022 season, coming from Atletico Madrid, and the player began the preparation period with Roji Blancos in preparation for the new season 2022-2023.

It is worth noting that Alvaro Morata participated in 48 games with Juventus in all competitions last season, scoring 12 goals and 9 assists.

Barcelona settles Conde’s deal by reaching an agreement with Seville

Barcelona completed its fifth summer deal successfully, after reaching a preliminary agreement with its Seville counterpart in order to obtain the services of French defender Jules Conde, during the current summer transfer market, surpassing his English counterpart Chelsea.

According to the Spanish newspaper “Sport”, Barcelona reached an agreement with Sevilla, to include Jules Conde, for 50 million euros, in addition to 10 million euros in incentives.

And the newspaper added, that coach Xavi Hernandez convinced Conde, after communicating with him personally, which made him reject Chelsea’s offer, as Barcelona wants to complete the deal next week.

Barcelona had reached an agreement on personal terms with Conde on a 4-year contract, i.e. until 2026.

Conde is Barcelona’s fifth deal during the current summer Mercato after Robert Lewandowski, Frank Kessie, Andreas Christensen and Rafinha.
