Press reports revealed a new exceptional event in the winter transfer market for Barcelona in the 2021-2022 season, which ended and the curtain came down on Monday.
Barcelona had included the quartet Ferran Torres, Dani Alves, Emeric Aubameyang and Adama Traore in the January transfers.
The Catalan newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, indicated that Barcelona for the first time since 2019 concluded four deals in the winter Mercato, adding that the previous record for Barcelona winter deals was in 2019 with 3 deals.
The report added that the trio that signed for Barcelona in 2019, are Kevin-Prince Boateng (Sassuolo) and Jean-Clair Todibo (Toulouse) Jason Murillo (Valencia), at a cost of one million euros.
Also in (1999, 2005 and 2018) Barcelona concluded two deals, the brothers Frank and Ronald de Boer, both from Ajax, and in 2005 Maxi Lopez joined from River Plate and Demetrio Albertini from Atalanta in a free transfer deal, and in 2018 Barca signed Coutinho from Liverpool and Yari Mina from Palmeiras.
