Dani Alves: We have to win the European League and my future with Barcelona is a challenge

The Brazilian defender Dani Alves, the defender of the Barcelona team, spoke about his expected first appearance with Barca, after he officially joined during the last period in a free transfer deal, before the Maradona Cup match, which will be held at seven in the evening in Saudi Arabia against Boca Junior of Argentina.

Dani Alves said during the Maradona Cup press conference:

“I’m nervous even after not being able to play for a long time, without being able to defend the club and the team. The most important challenge in my career came because of how the situation happened and how the club happened. We will try to do our best for this club.”

Danny Alves added:

“European League draw? I think things in life must accept any challenge. Our role is the European League and it is the same. Every time we wear the Barcelona shirt to defend the history and greatness of this entity, you have to win and we will prepare for that.”

Dani Alves explained, “The Maradona Cup? For me playing is always special. I don’t have a lot of relationships with people here in Saudi Arabia, but I will do my best. It’s about honoring one of the best players in Saudi Arabia and the world and it’s special.”

Dani Alves continued:

“The last years of my career? They have been saying for a long time that I am in the last days, but I will do it in the best way, because I have waited so long that I am in the clouds.”
