Barcelona faces Mexican Pumas in the Joan Gamper Cup friendly


Barcelona will host, at eight in the evening, the Mexican team Pumas Onam, in the Joan Gamper Cup at the Camp Nou, the last meeting in Barca’s preparations for the new season.


Spanish coach Xavi Hernandez announced the list of Barca to face Mexican Pumas Onam, and witnessed the presence of Miralem Pjanic, Frenkie de Jong, Robert Lewandowski, Depay and Abauming.


The Joan Gamper Cup is a friendly competition organized by the Spanish club Barcelona, ​​which chooses one of the international teams competing for the friendly tournament.


Dani Alves was with the delegation of his new team, Pumas Onam, in Barcelona, ​​​​to play the Joan Gamper Cup against the Catalan team, where he hopes to bid farewell to the Camp Nou fans, after Alves finished his second adventure in the Barca shirt last June.


Pumas’ delegation to Barcelona includes 23 players, including Argentines Eduardo Salvio, Gustavo del Prete, Nicolas Freire and Juan Dinino.


The team led by Argentine coach Andres Lelini is looking to add another title in Spain after winning the 2004 Santiago Bernabeu Cup in Madrid.
