Belmadi chooses the stadium for the FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying match between Algeria

Djamel Belmadi, the coach of the Algerian national team, decided to choose the “Mustafa Tchaker” stadium in Blida to play the return leg of the “Desert Warriors” on its way to qualifying for the next edition of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Saleh Abboud, the media official in the Algerian Football Association, confirmed, according to the Algerian newspaper, “An-Nahar”, that Belmadi decided to receive the opponent at the “Mustafa Chaker” stadium in Blida again.

Belmadi expressed his admiration for the pitch during the Burkina Faso match, despite the major climatic changes, which caused the stadium to be affected again by heavy rain.

Abboud added that Belmadi explained that it is possible that there will be a change in the stadium that hosts the confrontations of the Algerian national team in the future, after qualifying for the World Cup, explaining that it could be the July 5 Olympic Stadium or the new Oran stadium.

The Algerian national team qualified for the final stage of the African qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup, after drawing with its guest Burkina Faso, with two goals each, in the decisive confrontation that brought them together this evening, Tuesday, at the “Mustafa Chaker” stadium, in the sixth round of qualifying matches.
