
Borussia Dortmund defeats Chelsea with a clean goal in the Champions League.
The German club Borussia Dortmund managed to achieve a difficult victory (1-0) at the expense of Chelsea, in a match that brought them together at the Signal Iduna Park stadium, in the first leg of the round of 16 of the European Champions League competitions, and it is expected that the two sides will face again, at Stamford Bridge. Next Tuesday, March 7, in the UEFA Champions League.

With the first 15 minutes, Dortmund showed its dominance in the face of Chelsea, while creating many opportunities that did not amount to a threat to the Spanish goalkeeper Kiba.
The referee, Gil Manzano, canceled a goal for Chelsea in the 17th minute, after Brazilian defender Thiago Silva scored with his hands, which caused him to receive a yellow card.
The Ivorian striker, Sebastien Haller, threatened Chelsea goalkeeper, with a powerful shot, deflected from the goal, in the 27th minute, so that Dortmund returned to his offensive attempts, and the Portuguese Joao Felix aimed in the 31st minute, a curved shot, which moved slightly away from the Borussia Dortmund goal.
And the German yellow returned, once again, to try to score the first goals of the European summit, as Adeyemi hit a powerful ball in the 33rd minute, which passed over the Chelsea crossbar.
The 37th minute saw the most dangerous chances in the round of 16 of the Champions League, through the Portuguese Joao Felix, whose wonderful shot hit the Dortmund crossbar, and Copil managed to deflect a dangerous shot from James, after a free kick obtained by Chelsea in the 55th minute.
James returned, once again, to lead Chelsea’s offensive attempts, after he hit a difficult ball in the 62nd minute, which the Dortmund goalkeeper struggled to deflect into a corner kick.
In the 63rd minute, Karim Adeyemi was able to score a goal that made Borussia Dortmund (1-0) ahead of Chelsea, after a series of wonderful dribbles, which he started with a sprint with Enzo before leaving Kepa on the ground, to put his ball into the English net.
Chelsea tried hard, with a number of offensive substitutions, to score the equalizer against Dortmund. The most dangerous opportunity was in favor of Senegalese player Kalidou Coulibaly, who hit a ball in the 78th minute.
Emre Chan managed to clear it before it crossed the Borussia Dortmund goal line and Chelsea pressed in. The last minutes, in search of the equalizer, but the brilliance of Coppell, Dortmund’s goalkeeper, kept Germany’s lead (1-0).
