Brighton closes negotiations to sell his player with Man City
Brighton closes negotiations to sell his player with Man City, and Chelsea is close to being resolved
British press reports revealed that Brighton club strongly objects to the way Manchester City officials are doing about the left defender, Mark Cucurella, after the last offer reached 50 million euros.
According to BBC radio, Brighton club officials believe that the way in which Manchester City is managing negotiations to include Cucurella during the transfer period does not reflect the marketing value of the player set by the management earlier.
The report stressed that Brighton had decided to stop all negotiations with Manchester City to confirm that the offers submitted did not reach the minimum sale value that had previously been set by the team’s management, which amounted to 60 million euros.
While the newspaper “Daily Mail” confirmed that Chelsea broke into negotiations to include the player during the current summer transfers.
According to Fabrizio Romano, correspondent for “Sky Sport”, Chelsea will be ready to approach the 60 million euros requested by Brighton, in addition to defender Louis Colwell, who may be part of a swap deal.
Romano added that it is expected that today there will be direct negotiations with Brighton to find out the club’s response to the proposal.
Fabrizio Romano wrote that Marc Cucurella had asked Brighton’s management to agree to his departure to City.
If the deal is completed, Cucurella will become City’s fifth signing this summer, after signing Erling Haaland, Calvin Phillips, Julian Alvarez and Stefan Ortega.
