Cameroon snatched a ticket to qualify for the World Cup with a fatal victory over Algeria

Cameroon qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, after its deadly victory over its host Algeria, 2-1, after the match extended to overtime, in the match that brought the two teams together on Tuesday evening, at the “Mustafa Tchaker” stadium in Blida, in the second leg of the decisive round. Bayern Munich striker Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting scored the Cameroon national team goal in the 22nd minute of the match, taking advantage of the ball falling from Algeria goalkeeper Rais Mbolhi, to hit the net.

Ahmed Touba scored the equalizer for Algeria in the 118th minute of the match, from a header that was left to the left of the Cameroon goalkeeper.

In the 124th minute, Cameroon snatched the winning goal through player Karl Ekambi. Cameroon joined the teams of Senegal, Ghana, Tunisia and Morocco, which qualified for the World Cup in Qatar.
