The English newspaper “Sun” confirmed that Carlos Casemiro will not join the Clasico due to the delay in completing the registration procedures for the deal, and because the player is required to obtain a work permit, according to British laws.


The newspaper added that Casemiro will not arrive in Manchester 48 hours before to undergo medical examinations, complete the procedures for his transfer to Manchester United, and sign a contract for 4 seasons with a weekly salary of up to 350 thousand pounds.


Real Madrid officially announced Casemiro’s departure to Manchester United in a deal estimated by the British press at 70 million pounds, while the Spanish press reported that the deal amounted to 72 million euros and 13 million euros in variables.


Brazilian Casemiro will play the first meeting with his new team against Southampton in the fourth round of the English Premier League, scheduled for August 27.


Casemiro arrived at Real Madrid from Sao Paulo, 2013, and then moved to Porto on loan, where it cost Real Madrid only 6 million euros, but its market value is now 40 million euros, according to a website.
