
Chelsea lure AC Milan into a fiery Champions League summit
Chelsea will host AC Milan at 9:00 pm today, Wednesday, at Stamford Bridge, in the third round of Group E of the Champions League for the current season 2022-2023.
Chelsea, the owner of the land and the public, enters today’s match as it occupies the fourth and last place in the table of the fifth group standings, with one point collected from a draw, a loss, a single goal and two goals.
Milan is at the top of Group E standings with 4 points collected from a win, a draw, 4 goals and 2 goals.
The Blues hope to win and return to the picture to compete for the qualification for the next round of the Champions League for the current season, especially after the disappointing performances they made in the first and second rounds of the continental competition.
