Conte is close to returning to the English Premier League

Press reports revealed that Italian coach Antonio Conte is not considering accepting the training of any team during the coming period without obtaining guarantees of the strength of the sports project offered by the club wishing to contract with him.

Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano said:

Conte will only accept purposeful projects, which is why Spurs has previously rejected Arsenal’s offer for the same reason.

The famous Italian journalist added:

Conte would be impressed with Manchester United’s coaching if offered, given the club’s strong list of outstanding players.

The 52-year-old coach left Inter Milan at the end of last season after leading them to win the Italian league title for the first time since the 2009-2010 season due to his dispute with the management over deals and his insistence on selling some players.

Conte was close to coaching Tottenham Hotspur, succeeding Jose Mourinho, but he retracted the leadership of the team due to disagreements with the Tottenham management.

Conte went on to analyze matches on Sky Sports Italia at the moment, with his lack of a strong showing to return to training.

Conte previously coached Chelsea, and successfully led them to the Premier League title during the 2016-2017 season.
