Depay’s agent decides his position on joining Inter Milan
Sebastien Ledor, manager of the Dutchman Memphis Depay, the Barcelona player, denied his player’s association with moving to Inter Milan during the current winter transfer period, despite reports indicating that the player entered the Italian club’s circle of interests to support his attack during the coming period.
The Dutch striker was linked to the move to Inter Milan in a possible exchange deal with Joaquin Correa, while Barcelona coach Xavi rejected the exchange deal.
Sebastian Ledor said, in statements to the Spanish newspaper “AS”: There are no talks with the Nerazzurri during the current period for the transfer of Memphis Depay to the Italian giants.
“There are no ongoing negotiations for Memphis to join Inter,” Lidor said.
However, Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano claims that Depay will leave Camp Nou in the current transfer window, given that he lacked playing time in the early part of the season, and that his contract expires in June.
Juventus held talks with Memphis Depay last summer but ended up signing Arik Milik on loan with the option to buy from Marseille.
Memphis Depay scored one goal in 4 matches with Barcelona this season, and the 28-year-old joined the Catalan team on a free transfer from Lyon in the summer of 2021.
Ledor is the same agent who made Romelu Lukaku’s return to Inter possible over the summer, and persuaded Chelsea to loan the Belgian star to his former club.
