The local organizing committee has completed all preparations and arrangements for the start of the Arab Cup Qatar 2021 qualifications.
The qualifications will take place in the Qatari capital, Doha, from 19 to 25 June.
The qualifications will have seven playoffs. The results of which will determine all the teams participating in the Arab Cup. The event will also take place in Qatar from November 30 to December 18.
Nine teams have qualified directly for the tournament. That was due to their position in the FIFA rankings.
Those teams include Qatar, the host country, Tunisia, Algeria, Morocco, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, the United Arab Emirates, and Syria.
There are 7 teams left to be determined by the results of the qualifications matches.
Khalifa International World Cup Stadium and Jassim bin Hamad at Al Sadd Club will host the seven matches, at eight in the evening Doha time.
This time, 30% of fans will attend. However, attendance should have the two doses of the Covid-19 vaccine. Or, if they recovered from the virus within the last nine months.
The start of the Arab Cup Qatar 2021 qualifications will be an exciting Arab-African match between Libya and Sudan in Khalifa International Stadium.
The match will determine who will pass for the competition within the fourth group. The group includes Egypt, Algeria, and the winner between Lebanon and Djibouti.
Furthermore, Oman and Somalia will compete in another play-off match to qualify for the first group. It includes Qatar, Iraq, and the winner between Bahrain and Kuwait.
