The Netherlands beat Wales 3-2 in the UEFA Nations League

 

The Dutch national team defeated Wales 3-2 during the match that brought the two teams together in the Netherlands, in the fourth round of the 2022-2023 European Nations League.

Noa Lang took the lead in the 17th minute for the Netherlands, and Cody Jakbo added the second in the 23rd minute, then Brennan Jonson reduced the difference in the 26th minute.

In the second half, Gareth Bale tied for Wales in the 92nd minute, before Memphis Depay scored the third goal for the Mills in the 93rd minute.

The formation of the Dutch national team was as follows:

Goalkeepers: Silensen/ In the line of defense: Indy, Tize, De Ligt/ In the midfield: Hatebor, De Jong, Kompmineers, Malacia/ In the attacking line: Jansen, Jakbo, Lang.

With this result, the Netherlands is at the top of Group D standings with 10 points from winning 3 matches, not receiving any defeats, achieving a single draw, scoring 11 goals and receiving 6 goals.

Wales is ranked fourth and last in the group standings with one point, after losing to Poland and Belgium, respectively.
