England swept its Albanian guest 5-0 in the match that brought them together on Friday evening at Wembley Stadium, as part of the ninth round of Group I, in the European qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Manchester United defender Harry Maguire opened the scoring for the England national team after 9 minutes, with a header to the left of the Albania goalkeeper.

Harry Kane added the second goal of the Lions team in the 18th minute from a header, taking advantage of a cross from Henderson.

Henderson boosted the England team’s lead with the third goal in the 28th minute, from a great individual effort, before firing to the left of the goalkeeper. Kane returned to add his second and fourth personal goal for England in the 33rd minute of the meeting.

Harry Kane scored his third personal goal “hat-trick” and the fifth for the England team in the first minute of the time instead of wasted for the first half, from a wonderful scissor kick.

The result remained the same, in the second half, during which Gareth Southgate made several changes to rest his players.
