Eto’o: Qatar can host the World Cup at the end of the month

Samuel Eto’o, ambassador of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and former Barcelona star, spoke about Qatar’s readiness to host the 2022 World Cup; he confirmed that Qatar can host the World Cup Qatar 2022 at the end of the month.

Eto’o said in an interview with AS, “If FIFA allows us, we will organize the World Cup at the end of this month. We are ready.”

He also added, “It is really high-level. I’m glad I found people who think like me and look in the same direction as I do. Our infrastructure is 95% complete.”

Eto’o talked about the Generation Amazing program, one of the programs of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy. He said, “We are here a large family of 725,000 people. Our goal is to reach a million until the World Cup.”

Qatar is in full swing to host the 2022 World Cup in the country next year.

State-of-the-art stadiums opened with distinctive infrastructure, safety means. And an advanced transportation network, to ensure the best World Cup experience.

Doha is currently hosting the Arab Cup qualifiers in a mini-rehearsal, as described by analysts for the next World Cup experience.

Asian and international federations also praised the bio-secure bubble system developed in Qatar, to deal with the pandemic, and to provide the best medical experience in sports activities.

Whereas, the teams are tested for the Coronavirus upon arrival in Doha before they go to the residence.

They are also not allowed to go out except for training and matches. In addition, they undergo a final test before the match. Also, press conferences will take place remotely with video communication technology.
