The FA accuses Manchester United and Crystal Palace of misconduct
The English Football Association (FA) has accused Manchester United and Crystal Palace of misconduct following an altercation between the players of both teams during the match that brought them together.
The match witnessed an altercation between the players, as a result of which the arena referee was summoned to see a replay of the video clip, and accordingly, Casemiro, the United player, was sent off after grabbing his counterpart in Palace, Will Hughes, by the neck.
The FA statement came as follows:
Manchester United and Crystal Palace have been charged with misconduct following an altercation between players in the 67th minute of the match that took place on Saturday, February 4.
Both clubs have failed to ensure that their players act in an orderly manner or refrain from provocative behaviour, and Manchester United have also failed to ensure that their players refrain from violent behaviour.
Manchester United and Crystal Palace have until Monday, February 13th, to respond to the accusations, and United won the match that was held at Old Trafford in the 22nd round of the English Premier League, with two goals to one.
It is noteworthy that the Manchester United team has greatly increased its level, and this is all under the leadership of coach Ten Hag, who moved Manchester United from a stage of decline to a stage of great development in level and on the field, and by a large percentage, Man United will be in the Champions League next season.
