Officially.. Saudi Arabia will host the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup

 

FIFA decided to assign the task of organizing the next edition of the Club World Cup, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 12 to 22 December of the current year 2023.

And the Saudi Football Association stated, through its official account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “FIFA: Saudi Arabia will host the Club World Cup 2023.”

 

And the Saudi newspaper, Al-Riyadiah, reported earlier today, Tuesday, that the Saudi Federation is awaiting approval to host the Club World Cup, in a decision to be announced in the coming weeks.

 

The newspaper confirmed that FIFA is weighing between the Saudi file and other files to host the Club World Cup.

 

She explained that the International Federation requires the host country to pay a fee of $25 million, in addition to bearing the costs of accommodation for the participating teams and guests in the global competition.

 

Morocco had hosted the 2022 Club World Cup, which Real Madrid crowned for the fifth time recently.

 

Real Madrid won the Club World Cup 2022 title for the fifth time in its history, after a historic victory over Al-Hilal, 5-3, in the final match at the Moulay Prince Abdullah Sports Complex Stadium.
