Find out the results of the draw for the round of 16 in the German Cup.. Dortmund faces St. Pauli

The draw for the last 16 of the German Cup, which was held this evening, Sunday, resulted in equal confrontations between the clubs competing in the championship for the current season 2021-2022.

Borussia Dortmund, the defending champion, will meet in the last 16 of the German Cup with St. Pauli, while Hoffenheim will face Freiburg, and Hertha Berlin will meet with Union Berlin, while Hamburg will face Cologne.

The draw also resulted in a confrontation between Hanover and Borussia Moenchengladbach, where the latter qualified in a resounding surprise at the expense of Bayern Munich, while Leipzig will meet its rival Hansa Rostock.

The German Cup round of 16 matches are scheduled to take place on January 18 and 19 of next year 2022.

Bayern Munich bid farewell to the German Cup in the current season 2021-2022, after receiving a heavy defeat against its host, Borussia Moenchengladbach, by five clean, in the meeting that brought them together at the “Borussia Park” stadium, in the second round of the tournament.

In another match, the professional Stuttgart team bid farewell to the young Egyptian striker Omar Marmoush in the German Cup, after losing to its guest, the Cologne team, by a clean double.

Omar Marmoush did not participate with Stuttgart for the second match in a row, in light of his suffering from a muscle injury.
