Four Clubs Are Fighting for Zidane after Leaving Madrid

Four clubs are fighting for Zidane after his departure from Real Madrid. The French coach is officially leaving Santiago Bernabeu.

Several destinations are likely to be the destination of the French legend, Zinedine Zidane, after his departure from Real Madrid.

His previous team had scored a difficult victory over Villarreal in their last game of the season. The match ended with two goals to one in the final round of La Liga.

Thus, the team ended its season without achieving any title, domestic or European.

It is worth noting that the competition for the La Liga title continued until the last round of this season.

Ultimately, La Liga ended with Atletico Madrid defeating Valladolid (2-1). So, the neighbor, Atletico, won the La Liga title after a season during which the race continued until the last round.

According to Mundo Deportivo, there are several potential destinations for Zinedine Zidane.

Previously, Zidane returned to Real Madrid in March 2019. He first led the team from January 2015 until May 2018.

The Frenchman managed to win the Spanish League, La Liga, once and the European Champions League 3 times in a row.

Meanwhile, in Zidane’s second term, he won the Spanish League and the Super Cup. But this season, the coach has suffered badly.

With Juventus, Zidane has a great history, and he indeed loves the Italian club. Earlier, they wanted to appoint him as a coach since Allegri’s period.

Now, Juventus has a golden opportunity to sign Zidane, with Andrea Pirlo’s expected departure for the poor results and losing the Italian League title.

Nevertheless, Zidane might be heading for a break away from the world of coaching for a while. This is what he originally intended to do when he left Real Madrid the first time.

As for the French national team, talk of succeeding current coach Didier Deschamps puts Zidane as the first candidate for the position.

The French icon is expected to coach the national team after the end of Euro 2020 to prepare it for the Qatar 2022 World Cup.

It is expected that Zidane will have other options. The Premier League might be the next step for the French coach, as well.
