Benzema’s last goal with Les Bleus was against Armenia during a friendly match in October 2015.

The player returned to the national team after a long absence. And he played two friendly matches.

This came after his brilliant performance, at the individual level, with his team, Real Madrid, last season.

Before the start of the Euro competitions, he missed a penalty kick against Wales.

Also, he was injured in the other friendly match against Bulgaria.
