Guardiola: If Manchester City lose any point, we will congratulate Liverpool on the Premier League title

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola confirmed that winning the English Premier League title during the current season will be by winning all the remaining matches during the current season, after the big victory over Leeds United by four goals, in the 35th round of the competition.

Guardiola said, in the press conference after the end of the match, saying: “There is nothing new, we know what we have to do. We beat Newcastle, Wolverhampton, West Ham, and Aston Villa. We will be champions and celebrate the Premier League title. If we lose any point, we will congratulate Liverpool.”

He added: “I prefer to feel pressure than to remain without pressure, in the next four rounds we will play after Liverpool, it is not important, they will win their matches and we are required to win, what a great honor for me to try to win the league for the fourth time in the last 5 seasons.”

Leeds vs Man City

Manchester City ended the first half of the match with a clean goal scored by Spanish midfielder Rodrygo, from a header to the left of the Leeds United goalkeeper, after following the cross of his colleague Phil Foden in the 13th minute.

In the second half, Dutch defender Nathan Ake added the second of City’s goals in the 54th minute of the match, and Brazilian striker Gabriel Jesus strengthened the City’s advance by scoring the third goal in the 78th minute.
Veteran Brazilian Fernandinho ended the Manchester City quartet in the third minute of time instead of wasted for the match.

Manchester City leads the English Premier League standings with 83 points, one point ahead of runner-up Liverpool, with 82 points, while Leeds United’s balance stops at 34 points in 17th place.
