Reports: Halilhodzic offered himself to succeed Tuchel in training
French press reports revealed that the former coach of the Moroccan national team, Wahid Halilhodzic, offered himself to the management of the English club Chelsea, but he received a shock by appointing another coach during the past few days to succeed German Thomas Tuchel, who was dismissed from his position against the background of the disappointing results suffered by the Blues locally and continentally.
According to the newspaper “L’Equipe”, Vahid Halilhodzic offered his services to the management of Chelsea FC in order to become the team’s coach.
The newspaper added that the club’s response was shocking to coach Vahid Halilhodzic, when it rejected his request on the pretext that it was looking for an English coach.
The Moroccan Football Association, led by Faouzi Lefja, separated from coach Vahid Halilhodzic by mutual consent, and appointed Walid Rekraki as his successor.
