Press reports revealed the date of the return of Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic to participate with Milan again.

And this is after the injury he suffered, and prevented him from playing against Liverpool this evening, in the first round of the second group of the European Champions League.

Swede Zlatan Ibrahimovic was left out of Milan coach Stefano Pioli’s calculations against Liverpool tonight, due to his suffering from an Achilles tendon injury in the left leg.

As the Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport reported:

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to lead Milan’s attack, against Atletico Madrid on September 28, in the match that will bring them together at the “San Siro”.

The newspaper added:

Milan coach Stefano Pioli hopes that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will return to Juventus, at the top of the fourth round of the Italian League, next Sunday.

It is worth noting that Milan defeated Lazio 2-0 in the third round of the Italian League.

Milan occupies the second place in the Italian league standings, with 9 points, and a goal difference from leaders Roma.
