Milan leads the Italian league standings with 38 points, one point ahead of Inter Milan, the runner-up, with 37 points, while Udinese occupies the fourteenth place with 16 points.

AC Milan beat Salernitana 2-0 at San Siro in the sixteenth round of the Italian Serie A.

And press reports revealed that Milan striker Olivier Giroud is close to returning to participate in official matches during the coming period.

And that is after the 35-year-old was absent from the ranks of the Lombardy club recently, due to an injury he suffers from.
