Gianni Infantino, President of the International Football Association “FIFA”, expressed his confidence that the Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, will win the title of best player in the world during the coming period.
“Mohamed Salah is currently one of the best players in the world, and it is a matter of time and success with his club and national team until he makes a difference and becomes the best in the world,” FIFA President Infantino said in televised statements.
FIFA revealed the list of nominees to choose the best squad for 2021, which will be announced at the “The Best” awards ceremony on January 17.
The International Federation excluded the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, from the list of candidates to choose the 2021 Team of the Year from the International Professional Players Association.
And the “FIFA” account, on the social networking site “Twitter”, published a video of 23 players, not including the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the Liverpool winger, in order to choose the best 11 for the formation of the year.
At the top of the candidates to enter the formation of the year were Argentine star Lionel Messi, Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar da Silva.
