Italy beat Hungary 2-1 in the UEFA Nations League and topped the group

 

Italy defeated Hungary 2-1 in the match that was held between them on Tuesday evening at the “Dino Manuzzi” stadium, in the second round of Group C in the group stage of the European Nations League.

Italy’s goals were scored by Nicolo Parella and Lorenzo Pellegrini in the 30th and 45th minutes, respectively, while Hungary’s only goal came through Mancini (an own goal) in the 61st minute of the match.

With this result, Italy rose to the top of Group C standings with 4 points from a victory against Hungary and a draw against Germany, scoring 3 goals and conceding two goals.

While Hungary ranked third in the Group C table with 3 points from winning the England match, losing against Italy, scoring two goals and receiving the same.

Hungary won a thrilling victory at home against England with a clean goal, scored by Dominic Soboslai from a penalty kick, to collect three valuable points to top their group.
