Jurgen Klopp reassures Liverpool fans about Van Dijk

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp reassured the team’s fans about his defender Virgil van Dijk after returning from injury.

Klopp said Dyke had made good progress in training. And he is ready to return after a serious knee injury.

In fact, Van Dijk has been out since undergoing knee surgery. He sustained an injury in the Premier League match against Everton in October.

Van Dijk, Joe Gomez, Joel Matip, Rent, and Arnold are working to improve their fitness. And they are participating in Liverpool’s training at their camp in Austria at the start of the pre-season.

“I must say that all four look in good shape,” Jurgen Klopp said. According to Reuters.

“Virgil and Joe will not do more than one training per day during the first few days with the team,” he said.

When asked when he would return, Klopp said: “I don’t know exactly when we can take the next steps. But, that will happen in the next four weeks for sure.”

“Joel is definitely looking good. He’s probably the closest to regular training,” he added.

He confirmed that Trent suffered a serious injury. But, now it is not a vital injury, he believes.

Liverpool finished third last season. This season, it starts away from home against newcomers, Norwich City, on August 14.
