Klopp after the loss: We will not give up and will book the next final hotel from now on

German coach Jurgen Klopp expressed his sadness at the loss at the hands of Real Madrid in the Champions League final, defying that he will qualify for the final of the next edition of the same tournament.

Real Madrid won the Champions League for the 14th time in its history, after beating Liverpool 1-0, during the match that brought the two teams together on Saturday evening at the “De France” stadium, in the Champions League final.

“We played a good match, it was not a perfect match, but it was good,” Klopp said, during his statements after the match. “It is not possible to play a perfect match against a tactical team like Real Madrid.”

He added, “In the dressing room, everyone is very sad, and does not feel that it is a great season. We need some time to overcome what happened. We lost by very small differences.”

He continued, “My team is great and it is a competitive group and we will have a great group next season. I will book the hotel for the next final match from now.”

He concluded: “Reaching to the final is a success, but this is part of the success that you don’t want sometimes. My players tried to do everything, especially after being late. The midfielders were Kanra with offensive depth, and this is very dangerous with every counter-attack.”

Real Madrid, the Spanish champions of the European Champions League, will face Eintracht Frankfurt, the European champion, for the European Super Cup, scheduled for next August in Finland.

The European Super Cup match between Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt will be held on August 10, at the “Olympic” stadium in Helsinki, the Finnish capital.
