
The FA condemns Jurgen Klopp and investigates him over the Mohamed Salah incident
The English Football Association issued an official statement condemning Jurgen Klopp, coach of the Liverpool team, for his objection to not counting a mistake in favor of the Egyptian international, Mohamed Salah, the Reds’ top scorer against Portuguese Bernardo Silva.
The text of the FA statement read: “Jurgen Klopp is accused of misconduct, improper conduct and violation of the sanctions regulations in the Manchester City match in the 86th minute of the match.”
The statement added: “Jurgen Klopp has until Friday to respond to the charge and may face a fine and a ban from attendance if the charge is proven.”
Jurgen Klopp greatly objected during the Liverpool team match against Manchester City, which ended with the Reds winning with a clean goal for Egyptian star Mohamed Salah.
Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp confirmed his presence in the technical area against West Ham, in the match that will bring them together tomorrow at “Anfield”, in the 12th round of the Premier League.
“I think I will be there tomorrow and there is nothing official about my punishment and suspension,” Liverpool coach Klopp said in a press conference.

Liverpool coach Klopp had announced the absence of Diogo Jota from the Portugal national team at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, due to a strong calf muscle injury and his absence for a long time.
Mohamed Salah had led Liverpool to victory over Manchester City with a clean goal, at the top of the 11th round of the English Premier League.
