Klopp on Real Madrid in the Champions League: A good and exciting draw and our numbers are not bad

Jurgen Klopp, coach of the professional Liverpool team, confirmed that the Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, will arm his fans at Anfield during the match against Real Madrid in the Champions League.

The draw for the round of 16 of the Champions League 2022-23 season, which was held in the Swiss city of Nyon today, Monday, resulted in Liverpool falling with defending champion Real Madrid in an early final of the European competition.

“It’s a good and exciting draw,” Klopp told Liverpool’s official website.

Klopp added, “The first thing that can be said about this draw is that it is suitable for the Champions League, it is a match that speaks for itself and everyone should be excited about it.”

And Klopp continued, “Real Madrid’s European numbers are the best among all, we know that but we also know that our numbers are not bad, and on top of all that we know we have Anfield and everyone knows what that means.”

“I know that we have faced Real Madrid twice in the final, but it did not happen often that the two teams meet in a home and away match, so now we are looking forward to that happening,” the Liverpool coach continued.

Klopp concluded, “There are still many matches that we will play before that match, so we will focus on each match separately, but yes, that draw gave us something special to look forward to.”

Liverpool faced Real Madrid in 8 matches in the Champions League, Liverpool won only two matches, and the tie was decided by one meeting, and Real Madrid won in 5 matches.
