Klopp: Van Dyck will be absent for more than a month.. and we will play the main ones against Wolverhampton

Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp confirmed that Dutch defender Virgil van Dijk, the team’s player, will miss more than a month due to injury.

The “Anfield” stadium will host an upcoming confrontation tomorrow, Saturday, that will bring together Liverpool against Wolverhampton, which will be held at ten o’clock in the evening, in the third round of the FA Cup.

Klopp said during the press conference for the match: “Virgil’s injury is a big surprise. Virgil’s injury diagnosis means his absence for several weeks. Virgil will be absent for more than a month. Virgil will help us through his experience, and he has played several matches this season, and we will miss him for several weeks.”

He added, “Cody Jakobo is feeling fun. He has trained fully for the last two or three days and is ready. We are happy to have Jakobo, and this is a positive point.”

And he continued: “There is no deal capable of solving problems in the middle. This is not possible. He is a good player and I am very positive. Is it 100% ready? I don’t know, the first two sessions were really intense, that’s something new for him.”

And about the decline in Liverpool’s performance, he commented: “The good thing is that Liverpool is a big club. We have a wonderful family atmosphere here and we do not forget the personal lives of the players. We give them flowers and sing Christmas songs for them. Yes, difficult times now, but we will go back to how we were.”

Regarding the FA Cup match, he commented: “In cup matches, we used to rotate, but the last match was Monday, so we will involve a very good, experienced and strong squad. We will not rotate tomorrow.”
