Italian journalist: Mohamed Salah does not think about leaving Liverpool… and renewing his contract in the hands of the club

The famous Italian journalist, Fabrizio Romano, spoke again about the future of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah with his club, Liverpool, regarding negotiations to renew the contract between the two parties, stressing that the Egyptian star is not thinking of leaving the Reds during the upcoming summer transfer market.

Romano wrote, through his account on the social networking site “Twitter”, that Mohamed Salah is not currently planning to leave for the Spanish League, and is not considering leaving Liverpool this summer.

He added that the Egyptian star is currently focusing on the team, although negotiations to renew the contract are suspended, and the matter is in the hands of the club in order to implement the player’s requests.

And Spanish press reports indicated that Barcelona is monitoring the position of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah with Liverpool, to discuss the possibility of obtaining his services, in the event that the contract with the Norwegian star Erling Haaland, the top scorer of Borussia Dortmund, fails.

In another context, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp spoke about the position of Mohamed Salah’s participation against Arsenal, saying: “Mohamed Salah is a strong player.

He added, “A while ago, I was informed by the medical staff that Salah is ready to train today, and we will see how the situation will be.”
