Former Liverpool star: Mohamed Salah deserves a huge salary like the rest of the stars

Jimmy Carragher, the former Liverpool star, praised the renewal of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah’s contract, until 2025, to complete the Egyptian pharaoh’s successful career with the Reds, which began in 2017 after his arrival from Rome, Italy.

Today, Friday, English club Liverpool announced the renewal of the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah’s contract with the Reds, which ends in June of next year 2023.

Liverpool Football Club issued an official statement saying: “Liverpool Football Club is pleased to announce that Mohamed Salah has signed a new long-term contract with the club.”

“I think every now and then when you have someone as special as Mohamed Salah, the rules that you set you definitely have to break in order to keep him,” Carragher told Sky Sports.

He added: “Mohamed Salah has been as good as anyone else in the Premier League or in European football over the past five years, he will feel he deserves to be paid like these, and we know the kinds of numbers that some players get at other clubs.”

He concluded his speech by saying: “Liverpool has never reached this level in terms of numbers, and certainly the management of the club has a method and a model, and I think a lot of Liverpool fans respect that because it has achieved a lot of success.”

And the English newspaper “Daily Mail” revealed that Liverpool gave its Egyptian star Mohamed Salah the highest salary in its history, at a value of 400,000 pounds per week, after he renewed his contract on Friday.
