Liverpool sweeps Milan by four in the Dubai Super Cup, with the participation of Mohamed Salah

 

Liverpool, England, achieved a wide victory over AC Milan, 4-1, in the match that brought them together this evening, Friday, at Al Maktoum Stadium, Al Nasr Club, at the end of the 2022 Dubai Super Championship competitions, which will be held from 8 to 16 December 2022.

The Egyptian star, Mohamed Salah, opened the scoring for Liverpool, only 5 minutes after the start of the match, from completely alone in the goal, and he hit it to the right of the Milan goalkeeper.

Alexis Salimakers scored the equalizing goal for Milan in the 29th minute of the match, and Thiago Alcantara added the Reds’ second goal in the 41st minute of the match.

In the second half, Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez scored two goals for Liverpool in the 82nd and 88th minutes of the match.

Four European clubs, Liverpool, Arsenal, AC Milan, and Lyon, France, will compete in the Dubai Super Cup, which will run through the Qatar World Cup in 2022.

Regardless of what happened in the final match between Liverpool and AC Milan today, on Friday, which brought them together for the third round, Arsenal won the first edition of the “Super Dubai” Cup by defeating AC Milan by a score of two goals to one.

Last Sunday, Olympique Lyonnais overcame Liverpool (3-1) in the second match after Arsenal defeated Olympique Lyonnais (3-0), and then Arsenal decided the third match’s result in its favour at the expense of AC Milan.

According to the rules of the competition, each team must play two matches, with a winner-take-all penalty shootout following each encounter. Each side will receive two points if the score is tied.
