Liverpool appoint Brazilian Claudio Taffarel as goalkeeper coach

The professional English club Liverpool announced, within its ranks, the Egyptian star Mohamed Salah, the appointment of the Brazilian Claudio Taffarel as the goalkeeper coach within the English team.

Liverpool FC issued an official statement saying, “Liverpool FC can announce an agreement with Claudio Taffarel to join the club’s first team staff, by appointing the Brazilian to take over the role of goalkeeper coach.”

“The 55-year-old will join John Ashterberg and Jack Robinson in working with the Reds’ goalkeepers,” a Liverpool statement added.

For his part, Liverpool coach Jurgen Klopp commented on the appointment of Taffarel as the goalkeeper coach, saying, “In my opinion, we now have many distinguished individuals in the guard position. We have Alisson Becker, who is the best in the world. We have Kelleher and he is very special.”

Klopp added, “We spoke with Alisson because two of the best goalkeepers in the world are from Brazil, Alisson and Ederson, and we reached a solution by contracting Taffarel, who will be a great addition to the technical staff.”

Liverpool is preparing to face Everton in the Merseyside derby, which will be held at 10:15 in the evening, tomorrow, Wednesday, in the 14th round of the English Premier League “Premier League” for the current season 2021/22.
