Lucas Moura to Al Hilal of Saudi Arabia soon

Lucas Moura to Al Hilal is close to happening during the current summer transfer window.

The 28-year-old has a contract with Tottenham Hotspur until the summer of 2024. However, there are press reports indicating his departure, especially amid receiving many attractive offers.

Sources close to Al-Hilal Club, Saudi Arabia, revealed that the administration is close to obtaining the services of Lucas Moura. They explained that there is a serious desire from the Saudi team to include the Brazilian player.

Al-Madina, a Saudi newspaper, confirmed that the management of the Saudi club provided a sum of money amounting to 114 million Saudi riyals (28.5 million euros) in order to complete the deal officially.

For its part, the Telegraph indicated that Moura was very close to leaving Tottenham for an Arab club. But it did not reveal any details of the deal.

Earlier press reports indicated that the first goal of the administration of Al-Nasr Club, Saudi Arabia, is to sign Lucas Moura. However, Al Hilal succeeded in cutting its way.

During the past season, Moura participated with the Spurs in 50 games in all competitions. During which, he scored 9 goals and assisted 8.

Negotiations with Lucas Moura come on the recommendation of the new Portuguese coach for Al-Hilal, Leonardo Jardim. He wants to support the team during the current summer transfer window.

Moura joined Tottenham in January 2018 from Paris Saint-Germain.

During the last period, Al Hilal management concluded its first deals with the Malian striker, Moussa Mariga, coming from Porto.

Mariga expressed his complete satisfaction with joining Al-Hilal Club. He pointed out that he suffered from racism with the Portuguese team.
