Some press sources issued that Luka Modric signed with the Saudi Al-Nasr team, and this was late in the evening today, Monday, corresponding to the twenty-third of January for the new year 2023, a surprise of a heavy caliber, represented in the first football team of the Saudi Al-Nasr Club obtaining the signature of the Spanish legend Real Madrid to join for global ranks.

Saudi victory gets the signature of Luka Modric

In the details of the news, Al-Youm newspaper, in its Monday edition, confirmed that the management of the Saudi Al-Nasr Club had already managed to obtain the signing of Croatian international Luka Modric, the royal star.

The newspaper said that Al-Nasr Club management has already succeeded in obtaining the signature of the Croatian national team captain after they obtained his approval to represent the ranks, and the deal will be announced in the coming hours.

The contract linking Modric with Real Madrid expires at the end of June, and he has the right to negotiate with him without the royal’s approval, especially since he has entered the free period provided by FIFA.

Luka Modric previously joined Real Madrid in 2012 from Tottenham Hotspur for 35 million euros, and he previously participated in 23 matches during the current season, during which he scored 5 goals and assisted two goals.

In total, Modric played 459 matches with the Royals, during which he managed to contribute 109 matches, scoring thirty-six matches and making seventy-three goals for his teammates. Modric won the Golden Ball and THE BEST awards in 2018.
