Algerian star Riyad Mahrez continues his brilliance journey with his club, Manchester City, after he signed a new two-year contract with El Samawi, in a deal that will see the 31-year-old stay until June 2025.

The Algerian winger has become one of the key players in Pep Guardiola’s squad since joining from Leicester City in the summer of 2018.

In the four seasons that followed, Mahrez helped City win three English Premier League titles, three League Cups, and the FA Cup, in addition to reaching the Champions League final.

The Algerian star, Riyad Mahrez, participated in 189 matches with the Sky Club, scoring 63 goals and contributing 45 assists.

Riyad Mahrez signed a new two-year contract with Manchester City, striking a deal that will see the 31-year-old stay at the club until June 2025.

After announcing the renewal of his contract, Riyad Mahrez said, “I am very happy to sign the new agreement. I enjoyed every minute of my time here. It is a pleasure to be part of this wonderful club.”

Riyad Mahrez continued, “Helping us achieve the success we enjoyed in the past four seasons was unforgettable and made us all hungry to look forward to achieving more. I would also like to thank Pep Guardiola and the coaching staff, for the way they helped me develop as a player and pushed me to keep improving.”

Riyad Mahrez concluded: “Now I just want to try and play my part in helping us succeed in the next season and beyond.”
