Officially.. Manchester United announces the signing of Varane from Real Madrid
Manchester United announced today, Tuesday evening, the official contract of French defender Raphael Varane during the current summer transfer period from Real Madrid.
Manchester United club issued a statement on its official website saying, “Manchester United is pleased to announce that the club has reached an agreement with Real Madrid regarding the transfer of French international defender and World Cup winner, Raphael Varane, after undergoing a medical examination.”
Varane scored 17 goals during his participation in 360 games in all competitions with Real Madrid, in addition to 7 assists.
Varane’s goals with Real Madrid are divided into tournaments as follows: 8 goals in the Spanish League, 7 goals in the King’s Cup, and 2 goals in the Champions League.
And the global “Goal” website stated, earlier, that Raphael Varane is the only player, who missed Real Madrid’s training yesterday, to complete his transfer to Manchester United this summer.
Manchester United officials have ended their agreement with Real Madrid to sign Varane for 50 million euros during the current summer transfer period.
Varane is Manchester United’s third summer deal after Englishman Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and goalkeeper Tom Heaton on a free transfer.

The German club, Borussia Dortmund, officially announced its contract with Dutch striker Doniel Malin from Eindhoven this summer for a period of 5 years, to lead the attack in the club alongside Halland until 2026.
The German club said in an official statement: “Borussia Dortmund with Dutch international Doniel Mallin from Eindhoven, where the 22-year-old completed the mandatory medical examination yesterday as part of the Borussia Dortmund training camp in Switzerland and then signed a contract with the Festival Lions for a period of 5 years until 30 June 2026″.
Borussia Dortmund succeeded in securing the services of Dutch player Doniel Malin to fill the void left by English international Jadon Sancho after joining Manchester United this summer.
Last season, the young striker contributed 37 goals (27 goals and ten assists) in 45 competitive matches for his club, and the European Championship participant scored two goals in 13 games with the Dutch national team in the 2020/21 season.
“Borussia Dortmund is one of the big European clubs that always tops the Bundesliga and has high standards in the Champions League,” the player said in his statements. “I can’t wait to be on the field with my new teammates.”

The Dutchman, Memphis Depay, the newcomer to Barcelona, confirmed that his choice to join the ranks of the Catalan team during the current summer transfer period came because it is a great club and suits its capabilities, and Depay said in statements published by the Catalan newspaper “Sport” “Barca is a great club, fits my capabilities, and I love City”.
Depay added, “The level of training is high here, and this is something that makes me happy, because that’s what I felt I wanted in my professional station,” explaining, “I have a good feeling and it is a blessing to be here, the welcome was great and I am enjoying my first week and my first match.”
The Dutch striker continued his statements, saying, “I don’t care if they call me a rebel. In fact, I see it as a good thing on the field. Will Suarez score a lot of goals or win titles if he is nice on the field? I don’t know why they consider him negative.”
