Sterling hat-trick leads Manchester City to overtake Norwich in the English Premier League

Manchester City beat its host Norwich City 4-0, in the meeting that brought the two teams together on Saturday evening, at Carrow Road, in the twenty-fifth round of the English Premier League.

English star Raheem Sterling scored Manchester City’s first goal in the 31st minute of the match, with a superb shot to the left of the Norwich City goalkeeper.

In the second half, Phil Foden added the second city goal in the 48th minute, and Raheem Sterling added his second and third personal goal for his team in the 70th minute.

Sterling concluded the City quartet by scoring the third personal goal “hat-trick”, in the last minute of the match, after he followed the rebounding ball from the goalkeeper, who saved the penalty kick.

Manchester City raised its score to 63 points at the top of the English Premier League standings, 12 points ahead of runner-up Liverpool with 51 points, while Norwich City’s balance stopped at 17 points in the eighteenth place.
