The European Football Association confirmed that the draw for the round of 16 will not witness any confrontations between two teams from the same country, and will not witness any confrontations between two teams who have previously met in groups.

The round of 16 of the European Champions League will be held on February 15, 16, 22 and 23 (first-leg matches), and 8, 9, 15 and 16 March 2022 (return matches), all at 10:00 pm Cairo time.
