Manchester United coach announces the absence of Pogba for an additional month

Manchester United coach Ralf Rangnick confirmed that his star Paul Pogba will miss at least an additional month due to injury.

Rangnick said, in a press conference today, before his match against Aston Villa next Monday in the FA Cup, “A week ago I was told that he would be out for 4 or 5 weeks, but the player would not return to training and the medical staff told us that he would be out for another 3-4 weeks.”

Pogba has been absent from United since his injury last November, and the 28-year-old Frenchman also participated in 13 games with United this season, and sent 7 assists, and so far he has not yet renewed his contract with United, which expires next June.

In a related context, press reports revealed the difficulty of the Manchester United playmaker joining Barcelona next summer.

French star Paul Pogba’s contract with Manchester United expires in June 2022, and the Red Devils administration has not opened the renewal file with the player so far, amid news of his departure from Old Trafford.

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo also shared his followers and fans with new photos from within the team’s training in preparation for the Aston Villa club match, and posted through his personal account on the Instagram website a picture of the team’s training in which he raised the slogan of complete readiness.

It is scheduled to meet Manchester United and Aston Villa, at ten in the evening, next Monday, at Old Trafford, in the third round of the FA Cup.
