Messi statements after winning the Copa America

Lionel Messi confirmed in statements that Argentina coach, Scaloni, had great credit for winning the Copa America title.

Messi tweeted, “I feel that God was dedicating this moment for me. We won against Brazil in the final, and in their country.”

He added, “The great credit goes to Scaloni. He always wanted the best for the national team. And he knew how to make a winning team. He deserves appreciation.”

“I needed to get rid of doubts about the ability to achieve something with the national team,” Messi continued.

He added, “I was very close for many years to winning. I knew it was going to happen.”

He expressed his joy, “I think there are no better feelings than these now.”

“I want to thank the people of Rosario for the appreciation they gave me at the memorial,” he continued.

Messi concluded his statements, “We must take advantage of this new generation. I told them that they will shape the future of the national team.”
