AC Milan wins Serie A for the 19th time after beating Sassuolo

Milan was crowned the Italian league champion for the 19th time in its history and the first in 11 years, after beating its host Sassuolo 3-0, during the match that brought the two teams together on Sunday evening at the Mapei Stadium in the final round of the Italian League.

The first goal came in the 17th minute of the match through veteran French striker Olivier Giroud, then the player himself added the second goal in the 32nd minute, before Frank Casey scored the third goal in the 36th minute.

With this result, Milan ends the Italian league standings with 86 points, two points behind runner-up Inter Milan, while Sassuolo is in the eleventh place with 50 points.

On the other hand, Inter Milan defeated Sampdoria 3-0, leaving the difference of two points between the two teams.
