Milan negotiates with Florenzi to replace Dalot in the right front

Spanish press reports indicated:

The Italian club Milan entered into serious negotiations with Roma to obtain the services of Florenzi during the current summer transfer period before the start of the new season 2021/2022.

According to the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo:

Milan failed to convince Manchester United officials to keep Diego Dalot during the current transfer period after the player spent a successful season on loan during the past season.

The Spanish newspaper stated:

Milan changed its contractual path in the right front, Ngo Florenzi, who is also returning from a season on loan from French club Paris Saint-Germain.

She stressed that the negotiations between Roma and Milan have become very advanced, in light of the desire of the former to sell the player during the current transfer period due to the lack of Jose Mourinho’s need for the player’s services.

The 30-year-old is set to join Milan on loan with an option to buy despite the fact that the clause could become mandatory if certain conditions are met.

Paris Saint-Germain signed Florenzi to compensate for the departure of Belgian right-back Thomas Meunier, who left for the German team Borussia Dortmund after the end of his contract with the Parisian team at the end of last season.

The 29-year-old Italian spent the last 6 months of last season on loan to the Spanish club Valencia due to his tense relationship with Roma coach Paulo Fonseca.

Florenzi began his football career with Roma, and played with the Wolves of the Italian capital, 280 games in all competitions, scoring 28 goals.

Florenzi participated in 30 games last season, scored two goals and made a goal, and the loan amount for a year is only one million euros, with the option to buy the final for another 9 million euros.
